Now its time for the professional home inspection while in escrow to make sure this is the new home for you. Your Realtor has explained to you that your offer is contingent upon an acceptable home inspection report and if defeicencies are discovered you must be able to request the defencies are corected, recieve compensation to correct yourself or to withdraw your offer of purchase without penality.

Your "second" or more indepth home inspection should disclose and describe all visible defects that affect the safety, livability and resale value of the home. A home inspection is not desined to comment on cosmetic defifciences, style or taste.
